Welcome! My name is Selena Henson. 
I was born and raised in Kosciusko, Mississippi. It’s hard to pronounce and to spell, but it is centrally located in the beautiful state of Mississippi.
I specialize in custom homes and remodels, focusing on creating layouts and designs that will truly make your house feel like your home. In college, I majored in engineering, and hold a degree in architecture. While in college I received the award for excellence in architecture.  Since 2018 I have worked in drafting, surveying, and estimating. My background has truly helped give me a practical understanding of how things work in real world construction and design.

I am a wife and mother of two, so I understand how important it is for a home to be as functional as possible for everyday life. I love working closely with each client to assist in bringing their vision to life. I include free revisions (until construction begins) to make sure your vision comes together exactly as you imagined. This gives you the ability to see your ideas in a virtual walkthrough and 3D renders of your home or space before you commit to anything.

I started Sugar Creek Custom Homes in 2023 to help local homeowners and contractors design their projects. Trends come and go, so my goal is to give you a space that’s unique to you, makes you happy, and won't be “out” next year.
